Abstract

|
A case of chronic and complete uterine inversion is presented with brief review on the references concerned and some comments on the possible cause in this particular case.
This 32 year old woman with para II has bled almost continuously for two and half years since her last delivery which was attended by a midwife who carried on traction on the cord with increasing abdominal pressure in an effort to deliver the placenta retained over an hour.
